In June Kat and John look back to the wonderful concert the Tannehill Weavers gave us at the O Space last month, featuring a track from their latest CD, one from Phil’s solo CD, and one from Roy’s solo album.  We also play Gaelic songs from Kathleen MacInnes and Tannas.
We play Diarmuid O’ Meachair on the melodeon, Paddy Keenan on the uilleann pipes (of course), and Cormac Begley on the concertina. For songs we turn to Sheridan Ruitin and a classic from the Dubliners.  And if you ever went to a rave in Edinburgh sometime in the ’90’s you’ll be happy we included Shooglenifty’s “Whiskey Kiss.”  Thanks for listening, and thanks for your support of VoV.
