Okay, this is important so listen up. It’s about keeping our kids safe when they go to school. When the yellow school buses stop to let off kids, red lights flash and little arms that have a stop sign on them drop down for all to see – in both directions. But, you knew that, right? Maybe you didn’t know, though, that, perhaps because the schools have been closed for awhile for the covid pandemic, some folks are not stopping when the lights flash and the arms drop down. In both directions. And they pass the bus. This is unacceptable. This is putting our kids at risk. So stop it. Stop. And if you see someone else do this, report them. Really. It’s that important. And, if you find yourself driving behind a school bus, okay, you might lose a minute or two, but stay alert, and when that bus stops to let kids off, you stop too. Enough said.
