PSA – SURJ – Indivisible Vashon

February 4th, 2022 by VoV

Are we doing all we can to save our environment for coming generations? Are you kidding? Every year it gets worse. But, as mere individuals, is there anything we can do about it? Indivisible Vashon says “yes”.

That’s the great thing about Indivisible Vashon: they always say “yes”. And “yes” this time happens during Indivisible Vashon’s virtual meeting on February 16th at 7PM, featuring two people who know all about this stuff. That would be Washington Conservation Voter’s Political Director, Joy Stanford and its Chief Campaign’s Officer, Lennon Bronsema, who actually might be living next door to you because Lennon is an Islander now. Joy is a ferocious activist for everything from women and children to homelessness, housing and health care and Lennon has worked for the Democratic National Committee in Denver and with in San Francisco.

Get the inside scoop from Joy and Lennon on the Environmental Justice Champions we can support in 2022 and how you can get involved. You’ll also get an update on the Washington State Legislature session and how the national electoral map is shaping up so you’ll know where to focus your efforts. But these meetings often take a lighter turn in their later moments: no Pet Parade this time, but the Irrepressible Indivisibles will be giving away free gift cards for the Syrian Kitchen, and you can check out their menu at So to experience all of the above, on February 16th at 7PM go to and register by clicking the link at the top of the page.
