If you’ve seen any of UMO’s previous shows, then you’ll be ecstatic to learn that they have a new one opening at the Open Space for Arts and Community on Friday, May 12th, and running through till a matinee on Mother’s Day, the 14th. This one is called Squeeze and is a darkly comedic show that blends the absurd and Becket-inspired clowning with UMO’s always captivating kinetic choreography. The show takes the audience on a journey through the depths of human experience, finding humor in the darkness and wisdom in the mire. Squeeze follows five individuals on a quest for connection, space and freedom in world constrained by fear, loneliness, scarcity and greed. What could be funnier? Show times are 7:30PM on Friday, the 12th and Saturday, the 13th. The Mother’s Day Matinee is at 4PM. Don’t miss out on this incredible and family-friendly event.
