I am a social psychologist with a history of advocating for people with disabilities and mental health issues. Serving in programs to help at-risk youth is a recurring theme in my life. My role as a foster mother led me into the world of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome where I eventually banded together with other parents to form The FAS Adolescent Task Force. Currently living on Vashon Island, I grow cut flowers, sing in the church choir, and maintain the Localvore Lit Booth at our local Farmer’s Market.
