April 20, 2025
Show Notes
Sex, drugs, rock and roll — That was the 1970s in America. Pulitzer Prize and Tony award winning playwright David Auburn wrote about all that with feeling in the story of a friendship that blossoms between two young mothers during playdates with their daughters. Summer, 1976 will have its West Coast premiere in a Vashon Repertory Theatre production May 1 through 4 at VCA.
Join host Susan McCabe as she gets the backstage scoop from the play’s two stars, Cate O’Kane and Dedra Whitt Dakota. These two share the ups and downs of taking a well-written play from page to stage…with Feeling. (Photo by Michelle Bates)
