This weekend, we keep the Black History Month celebration rolling with a tribute to the legendary Stax Records—the Memphis soul factory that gave us some of the most electrifying music of all time. We’ll spin classics from Stax staples like Carla Thomas, Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, Booker T. & The MGs, and many more, capturing the raw power and deep grooves that made Stax a force of nature. Plus, we’ll hear from artists who took inspiration from that unmistakable Stax sound and carried it into new eras.
