Marty’s wife, Christine, was locked-down in England caring for her 93 year old father, away from her family here on Vashon for 5 months. That’s a sacrifice for all the right reasons.

Threaded throughout the Vashon COVID History Project stories was the theme of gratitude – gratitude for living in a community like Vashon. We are filled with gratitude to be a vital part of the Vashon-Maury Island community.
