Meet Maya (Krah) Solirah — Vashon High graduate, weightlifting coach, and coach of the Vashon Rowing Club’s Masters program — whose creative life moves fluidly between athletic power and performance. From Junior National rowing to belly dance, singing, and acting, Maya embodies what she calls “the marriage of athleticism and creativity.” Most recently, she delighted island audiences as Rocky in Vashon Repertory Theatre’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
