Today, Selin B Demir and Linda Nygaard with their trusty engineer, Heidi Skrzypek, welcome Vashonite Nan Wilson to the table. Nan is a board member of the Vashon Maury Food Bank and is currently “just about there” with a Masters Degree in Sustainable Food Systems from the Culinary Institute of America. Her capstone project is “Creating an Anti-Racist Foodbank.”
Together, these three will surprise and inform you with their knowledge, wit, and off-the-cuff comments. It’s all about food, how we eat it, why we love it, and where it comes from.
