Today’s guest is island luminary Martin Koenig who’s photographic exhibit of his 25 years traveling in the Balkan Countries is on display at the gallery of Vashon Center for the Arts.   Martin shared some the experiences and insights gained during his remarkable career as teacher, historian, dancer, producer and perhaps most importantly, archiver of a vanishing culture – the people, music and dances of rural Balkan Europe.
