Show Notes
In this episode, show host Sally Jean Fox shares her own creative journey into art. “If I can do it,” she says, “really, anybody can.”
Sally is a creativity coach, writer, and artist with a long career in leadership development and education. Toward the end of that career, she discovered a deepening love of creativity in many forms—including storytelling, writing, improv, gardening, and, to her own amazement, visual art.
In this episode, she tells the story of how she moved from believing she was “not an artist” to discovering an artistic life that had been waiting for her all along.
Sally writes about this journey in her book, Meeting the Muse After Midlife: A Journey to Meaning, Creativity, and Joy.
Her artwork has been exhibited locally at Synergy, PSCCU, the Vashon Senior Center, Vashon Center for the Arts, and Anu Rana’s.
