Email from Voice of Vashon 2-BOAT SCHEDULES CONTINUES 2026-01-02 WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES THE WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES HAS THIS ANNOUNCEMENT: The #1 vessel, Kittitas, is out of service due to necessary vessel maintenance. The route will be on two-boat service until further notice. Damage to an oil seal in the vessel engine room is causing the problem. Repairs are expected to be completed early next week. Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth service through Tuesday, Jan. 6: Friday, Jan. 2: WSF will switch to the two-boat schedule with the #1 Cathlamet and #2 Sealth. Alerts will occur when they know which sailings will start on the 2-boat schedule. 2-Boat Fauntleroy / Southworth 2-Boat Fauntleroy / Vashon 2-Boat Southworth / Vashon Saturday, Jan. 3 and Sunday, Jan. 4: Regular weekend two-boat schedule. Monday, Jan. 5 and Tuesday, Jan. 6: Alternate weekday two-boat schedule. Updated information will be sent out as soon as it’s available. Email from Voice of Vashon North End Boat Cancellation 2026-01-12 WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES The #1 vessel, Kittitas is out of service until further notice due to necessary vessel maintenance. Vessel engineers are on board the vessel working to resolve the issue. All #1 sailings are cancelled. This will cancel the Fauntleroy to Southworth and Vashon 6:40 a.m. sailing. This will also cancel the Vashon 7:20 a.m. sailing. Updates will occur when more information is available. Active Alert: Two-boat service resumes until Tuesday, 1/6/26

The #1 vessel, Kittitas, is out of service due to necessary vessel maintenance. The route will be on two-boat service until further notice. Early this morning, Friday, Jan. 2, we discovered damage to an oil seal in the vessel engine room. We expect repairs to be completed early next week.

Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth service through Tuesday, Jan. 6:

Friday, Jan. 2: Around 12 p.m., we’ll switch to the two-boat schedule with the #1 Cathlamet and #2 Sealth. We’ll send additional alerts when we know which sailings will start on the 2-boat schedule.

Saturday, Jan. 3 and Sunday, Jan. 4: Regular weekend two-boat schedule.

Monday, Jan. 5 and Tuesday, Jan. 6: Alternate weekday two-boat schedule.
