Did you know this year Chautauqua Elementary teachers offered extra reading and math support for over 100 students so they could learn at grade level? Did you know that Vashon Island schools connected over 40 families who are low income, multilingual, and families of color with food, health care, tutoring, technology, translation, and other community resources? When you donate to the Vashon Schools Foundation, you help fund these and other essential needs so that our students can succeed.

May 6-7 is GiveBIG. When you give to the Vashon Schools Foundation on these days, you will help us reach two goals–provide more early math and reading intervention for the kids who need it most and fund an additional family engagement coordinator position so we can connect kids and families with the community resources they need to achieve. Your donation will fill the gap left by state and federal funding gaps so that our support reaches more students.
