Voice Of Vashon

This is a combination of reading actual letters, articles in old Vashon newspapers, recollections of veterans’ experience in a whole new world, and letters to the veterans in Vietnam.  These articles were carefully transcribed and read by Susan Shrier.

The introduction episode discusses the importance of letters to the troops in any war as their connection to the real world and their families.  Also addressed is statistical information on the War in Vietnam and a timeline. Actual letters from Veterans are read.
