Episode # 14 – Fort Ticonderoga – May 1775

The capture of Fort Ticonderoga on May 10, 1775 was an initial early victory for the colonists that had a significant impact, but then turned into a long struggle, a defeat, and finally a victory. America has often gone to war assuming an early victory only to experience years of struggle. Vashon as also experienced similar events that lead to unanticipated struggles over schools, the Glacier Mine, and the Mukai Farm & Garden.
