Hailing from Los Angeles, DJ Mary Marin grew up listening to iconic SoCal radio stations KLOS and KROQ and grooving to Soul Train with her best friend Myrtle. From Stevie Ray Vaughan to Rickie Lee Jones, from Tina Turner to David Bowie, Rick James and George Thorogood, the LA scene helped shape her diverse musical tastes.

Mary moved from suburban San Diego to Vashon in 2013. She quickly removed her California license plates and hasn’t looked back.
