Songwriters LIVE
The thriving Folk-Music scene in Claremont, California in 1960’s captivated Art Chippendale as a young teenager. He never grew out of it. So, of course he hosts Songwriters Live on First Fridays from 6-7PM. Guests perform live in VoV’s intimate Jean Bosch Broadcast Studio in downtown Vashon.

The 52 Year War in Vietnam – Part 3: Letters to and from Vietnam. In these episodes we will be reading letters and documents written by Vietnam veterans and their families. These letters and documents show all the emotions of war from fear to anger, love, and fellowship.

By bringing you Voltaire’s Vault I am fulfilling a fantasy I had as a kid. On most shows I include some classics of the 50’s and 60’s along with tracks that are less well known. I try to include at least ten songs by female artists and I also provide a little history for many of the tunes.
