Vaccination Appointment System Opening at 7:00pm.


The COVID-19 vaccination appointment system at Vashon Pharmacy will be open again this eveningstarting at 7:00pm. Go to the website to reserve an appointment at VashonPharmacy.com/COVID. There will be a limited number of first dose appointments available at the Pharmacy drive-through site. If you already have your first dose, you should NOT go to the appointment website.


NOTE: Sea Mar clinic at Sunrise Ridge will be offering vaccinations tomorrow on a no appointment basis. That’s tomorrow, Wednesday. The Sea Mar walk up vaccination operation is first come, first served only. You can get in line first thing in the morning and only a limited number of vaccine doses will be available. For both locations, vaccination is only available for currently eligible individuals including Tier 1a as well as 1b1 through 1b4. (Eligibility will open to all adults 16 and older next week on April 15th, but not yet.) or more eligibility details, check the state Department of Health eligibility list:

Regarding the Vashon Pharmacy location, here are some important things to keep in mind:


Anyone facing significant barriers to making online reservations (no computer/internet access, insufficient computer literacy, limited command of English, etc.) can get help through VashonBePrepared’s Vax Access program. Islanders can register for Vax Access by completing a paper form at Vashon Pharmacy or by requesting assistance from one of the Vashon social service agencies, such as the Senior Center (for age 55+) or Vashon Youth and Family Services (VYFS) for all ages


Vaccination operations will take place even in bad weather.


The Pharmacy will only schedule vaccination appointments for the number of vaccine doses it has or knows it will have. Therefore, when all the doses have been reserved, the appointment system will be closed down until the next vaccine shipment arrives.


It is possible the rush could overload the system temporarily. If that happens, the site may be temporarily closed to allow it to catch up with processing appointments.

El Sistema de Citas para la Vacuna de COVID-19, en la Farmacia de Vashon, abre hoy por la tarde a las 7PM. Por favor hagan su reservación usando el enlace: VashonPharmacy.com/COVID. Como siempre habrá un número limitado de citas para la primera dosis. Recuerde que, si ya le dieron su primera cita, NO tiene que ir sacar otra cita, porque ya tiene la cita para la segunda dosis.
 
NOTA: La clínica de SeaMar en Sunrise Ridge, estará ofreciendo vacunas mañana sin cita, dando servicio por orden de llegada, vacunando a los primeros que lleguen hasta que se acaben las vacunas. Tienen un número limitado de vacunas disponibles. https://seamar.org/covid-vaccine
