Join Kate and Doug in the Morning on the Monday Morning Scramble as we take a peek behind the theatre curtain. We’ll be delving into the brand new musical Somewhere Between by Vashon’s own Alan Becker. This production will kick off the Second Annual Theatre Fest from Vashon Repertory Theatre. Somewhere Between tells a contemporary small-town coming of age story, with original music and book by Islander Alan Bruce Becker.

Randy Noojin, writer, director, and performer of Vashon Rep’s Festival show, Seeger joins us. In addition to his performance as Pete Seeger, Vashon Rep will perform a reading at Snapdragon of his play Mrs. Hank about Hank Williams’ wife and muse Audrey. And then we’ll have a visit from playwright Lisa Peretti and an actor or two from the new musical Winghaven Park to share how rehearsals are hearing up this summer.
