Curious About Fire?

Curious about what’s going on at Vashon Island Fire and Rescue? This week, The Klatch welcomes Chief Matt Vinci. Chief Vinci is relatively new to the island, but has been a big fan of the Pacific Northwest for a long time. He is happy to be here and he has a wealth of information regarding what’s in play at the fire department these days. Matt is an affable guy, fun to talk to, and full of knowledge about what it takes to run a successful fire department. You’ll hear Chief Vinci’s plans for the future, what is set in place already, how he views his staff, and how our beloved fire department is faring these days. Additionally, we will learn some interesting stories about how he got here, what his life was like before Vashon, and what he likes about being here. So, please fix yourself a nice cuppa for an afternoon break, pull up a chair, and relax while you get to know our fire chief.
