The final entry into the wonderful parade of anime movies from the Ghibli Studio that the Mukai Farm and Garden has been making available for Island audiences on a succession of Tuesdays at the Vashon Theatre will be Princess Mononoke on Tuesday, August 20th. The storyline involves a well-meaning young prince who finds himself to be a mutually distrusted whipping-boy for both sides of a struggle between business interests and the destruction of the magical forest home of Princess Mononoke, its prevailing spirit. You can get in for a voluntary donation at the door. We can’t really make it much easier than that. Tuesday, August 20th at 7PM is the screening time for Princess Mononoke at the Vashon Theatre.
