South End Ferries Canceled: Power Outage

This is the Voice of Vashon Emergency Alert Service providing a message from the Washington State Ferries:

All sailings are canceled this morning on the south-end ferry route between Point Defiance and Tahlequah. Washington State Ferries reports that a power outage in the Point Defiance/Ruston area has shut down the terminal on the Tacoma side. In addition, some trees are down on the roads leading to the terminal, so Washington State Ferries advises drivers to be cautious when approaching the terminal.

As of 8:10 am, the Tacoma Public Utilities power outage map indicated repair crews have been dispatched to fix the outage, but no time of restoration has been provided yet.
