Hello Geoff,

You’ve delivered some sunshine to me in the midst of the cold northeast winter here!  I  love the concept and meaning of the Fletchie Awards and I’m honored to receive one for Salvation .

I’ll look forward to clicking on that link and hearing your show. Thank you so much!

Graduation Dedication Show

Thank you, Tara. This is a wonderful show.  I’m so glad to know how to find this on the world wide web.  I’m going to spread out the listen over a couple of days. The wonderful and amazing creativity, self-possession, and care that are hallmarks of Vashon are on full display; not to mention the amazing musical taste. Thanks again for doing it, sharing it and spreading IT! The good stuff.
Warmly,
~ Anthony, Vashon, WA

“Steve we have listened intently to all of the interviews so far. You have done a great service to those veterans letting them know people still care. I enjoyed their stores but Allen’s and Jim’s ending really touched me emotionally. Thank you Steve!”

~ Claudia, Vashon, WA

“I listened to Steve Nourse and his presentation “Songs of Vietnam War Era” with a wife of a Vietnam vet.
Well done. I also was a wife of a Vietnam vet, now I am a widow. Would love to connect with her and add my support for her as the caregiver. I walked in the same shoes for many years.”
~ Anna, Ellensburg WA

“I’ve been enjoying listening to The Klatch; so nice to listen in on 3 brilliant women having fun talking about all kinds of interesting topics and having fun doing it!  You 3 mix very well and lend a helping hand to each other to keep it moving right along.”
~ Susan, Nehalem, Oregon

“Listening to The Klatch is well worth my hour! I’m sending the link to friends! You’re so engaging…”

I’ve just listened to all three episodes of The Klatch (back-to-back) on ‘catch-up’, & thoroughly enjoyed all three. You lasses are funny…”

“Listened to Boogie Back to Texas and I bet Joe Brown did also. Very much enjoyed…. Michael (my spouse) says it made him homesick for Austin!
“Jeff Hoyt has been truly amazing trying to help us out getting our station going… he must really have a soft spot in his heart for LP community radio!
Thank you so much!”

“Boogie Back to Texas is well named because Geoff had me dancing around the room with the music. He is great and I’m not an easy person to impress coming from a theatrical background, so I mean that compliment. I love hearing the music and his information. Makes me feel Texan!”

“Geoff is so professional, sounds like a trained announcer and has a very good radio voice, melodious and smooth.  He even sounds sort of Texan which is perfect for the program, just a touch, not heavy just enough to give a flavor.  He also researches well and gives us good stories and interesting lead ins to the songs.

“Thank you all!  I really appreciate the comments.  Perhaps after a big break, I’ll come back.  I just need to take a long break and have a chance to dig in deeper with some other projects.  I love VoV!!  and it’s people!!  I also really have loved the opportunity to explore music more fully around the globe.  It’s been an eye opener.
Take care and we shall see each other’s eyes in the aisles at Tway!”

I want to thank you all for supporting the Screaming last night. On the dot of 7, I was outside howling, yowling and releasing with all my might for about 2-3 minutes. It sure helped hearing you all as I yelped. I was definitely energized by participating in the first Vashon Screaming Saturday.
Please do more!
Many thanks and blessings,

“Truman, On behalf of the over 10,000 members of the Coast Guard Channel Community, thanks for bringing Capt Joe on your Tuesday show.

I know we have many Coast Guard Veterans  around the country tuning in on-line to listen to our Captain. I just wish he was on longer on most shows!

“I read an article on hippy cultures in the U.S. and you were in it. The island actually but thats how I found your station.  Outstanding format! I really love it. It fits my humble nort woods existence perfect. Yup a YoooHoooper!  Never been out that way, many dreams of.  Thankyou for giving me a taste of the west.”

“I had DJ Boss (guest host on Back In The Stacks) echoing off the buildings in downtown Minneapolis while out riding around.” ~ Michael Bishop

“The thing I love most about your station is that I get to hear music that is played nowhere else – where else can I hear a Les Paul song! Reception is a little spotty so the app was a great idea.
Keep up the great work!”
~ Chris Moser

“We send out a special GIANT thank you to Voice of Vashon – never has an organization been so aptly named. KVSH was broadcast all day and so many amazing Vashon organizations got to go in and share what they do. Thank you, VoV!”
