FERRY ALERT Oct 10 – Ongoing Delays

South End Ferry Service Suspended Today Crew shortages have caused Washington State Ferries to cut service to Vashon Island for a third day. The Tahlequah/Point Defiance route isn’t running today. At the north end, the Vashon/Fauntleroy/Southworth has two boat service, the usual number of boats for Sunday. Ferry service has been reduced for multiple runs throughout the system due to lack of Coast Guard documented crew. WSF indicates it will add back as much service as possible if additional crew become available. On the last two days, service was restored to the Tahlequah/Point Defiance run for the evening hours.
