COVID-19 Vashon Situation Report The Vashon Emergency Operations Center produces this briefing for our emergency workers and for the community. The situation report is published Tuesday and Friday and includes information on Vashon community response actions and support. All day tomorrow, Saturday, you can just walk up to the white vaccination tents outside Vashon Pharmacy and get a free vaccination. You don’t even need an appointment. Just go to the check in table. You’ll fill out a form and get your shot. If you already have an appointment for tomorrow and you are coming by car, go to the alley behind the movie theater and you will be directed. You can also park somewhere in the area and walk up to the vaccination tents if you have an appointment. If you need to make an appointment, you can do that too. Go to VashonPharmacy.com/COVID and check out what days are available. Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays are available until those slots are filled. In addition there are often extra days when vaccination is available. Keep an eye on the weather. It’s quite possible you will be vaccinated outdoors under the tents. So, bring a jacket or rain protection. COVID-19 vaccinations are free to all. You’ll be asked for insurance information if you have it but there’s no co-pay. If you do not have insurance, the cost is covered anyway and you will not be charged. ¡Vacúnese – Mañana no se requiere cita!
