Riverbend plays to combat Homelessness

August 30th, 2024 by Jeff Hoyt

River Bend is an Island band that’s been around for a few years, long enough that it would not be unreasonable to suppose that perhaps you have heard them in action. If so, then you know that River Bend is a where or when band. You know that you’ve heard a lot of this stuff, you just can’t remember where or when. Just that hearing it the second time may have been even better than the first time. Let’s face it, tracing a song we love is one of life’s – not to mention “love’s” – sweetest tasks. So get ready for a where or when trip on Saturday, August 31 when River Bend plays a concert from 6:30 to 8:30PM at Dig Deep Gardens to raise some much-needed funds for the Vashon Interfaith Council on Homelessness. We are making visible progress in this sector, as I’m sure you know, but there’s an old saying that the more you do the more you spend. Help us keep spending to make homelessness on Vashon a thing of the past. Take in the River Bend Concert on the 31st for starters. Saturday, August 31, from 6:30 to 8:30PM at Dig Deep Gardens. This has been a Voice of Vashon Public Service Announcement, Musical Matchlessness Department.
