Selin Demir joins Linda Nygaard or her first time ever on the radio! Selin hails from Istanbul and has lived in the US since 1996. She and her family have lived on Vashon Island for more than six years. She is a proud Vashonite with two teenagers at home, along with her husband Uluch, a talented baker, who was also born in Turkey. Selin’s diverse familial background includes Greek, Bulgarian, and Macedonian, all cultures known for delicious food. She loves to cook, learn, and talk about food.
