How does one sustain a creative life over the long haul—from teenage years through cronedom? Susan Mccabe has found many ways to follow her creative path while making a living and, more importantly, making a life. In this interview, she shares wisdom for creatives who may be wondering, “How can I follow my dream and support myself?”

Susan has been a journalist, social activist, writer, environmentalist, performer, and she is currently the marketing communications manager for the Vashon Repertory Theatre. She was also the General Manager for Voice of Vashon for five years and continues to inspire and inform audiences with her VOV show “A Vashon Minute.”
