King County Executive Dow Constantine, Metro General Manager Michelle Allison, Marine Director Terry Federer, and County Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda brought a special water taxi to Vashon to inaugurate a mid-day sailing. 

VoV did a live broadcast of Susan McCabe and Jeff Hoyt boarding the ferry to chat with riders to get their thoughts about this momentous occasion and to hear a few words from the officials.
